After a discussion with the Officers, the Forum and CPS Exchange pages have been removed. Unfortunately the Forum was not largely used and became difficult to manage due to spam posts. The CPS Exchange was dormant for a number of years and did not take off as was hoped. If you are interested in participating in an online philatelic community, please have a look at these two, very fine forum sites: Stampboards, a very active, large and well established site, and also Stamp Exchange, a newer and increasingly active forum. Please note that the CPS is not endorsing either of this forums, but only wanting to pass along this information to our members. There have also been updates to the base software which runs our site. Please use the contact form if you are having problems or any questions about our site.

It appears that the members only secure archive was not working properly due to an update of one of the plugins used on that page. Some modifications were made to correct this, and the archive is once again accessible.

Added some additional information in the About section of the site to give visitors some background of the Society. Also a very interesting Marginalia article from December 2007 by Mark Honig has been reformatted and added to the site. Please have a look and check through your stock, never know if a similar error may be awaiting discovery!

The work on the Member’s Only Archive has been completed and all of The New CartoPhilatelist back issues are now available. The archive is available to members of the Society in current standing. Access information is shown on the TNCP Archive Page. Some updates were also made on the Membership page, a revision to the actual membership form, and also the revised Society bylaws have been updated.

Be sure to sign up for email alerts whenever the web site is updated. Press the email button in the upper right corner below the menu and follow the directions. There are still issues with the re-captcha when using on a mobile device. This will be examined after the members back issue archive is working. If you run into problems using re-captcha to view email addresses please use the regular submission form on the Contact Us page. The mapsonstamps domain is active now. Both the .org and .com addresses are resolving correctly. Paths to all of the images and content have been updated. Incorrect links are being rectified as they are found. Now that the domains and content links are correct the first priority will be to fix the back issue New CartoPhilatelist archive. The mapsonstamps site is currently redirecting to this site. This is a temporary solution, more work will be done on the site in June. In the mean time, content updates will continue to be added. The members only secure archive is currently offline. There was a level of security on the members only archive and it is taking time to reproduce a similar level using the new framework. If you need to access a back issue of The New CartoPhilatelist, please contact the web admin and arrangements will be made. All requests will be verified against the membership listing.
